General
What is Genetic Testing?
Your DNA makes you unique and different. Similar to how we look different, there exist numerous genetic variations that are not observable in our bodies. Genetic testing allows us to unlock and discover your profile. Our genetic sequencing, bioinformatics and comprehensive questionnaire work synergistically to discover your genetic profile and lifestyle factors.
EternaLife carries out genotyping where we look for specific areas in the DNA where we know will contain important information. This is a great technology when we know the locations, genetic variants and what it means. Genotyping is a cost-effective tool that combines genome-wide coverage of specific populations with relevant information
What does EternaLife Provide?
We provide 3 product options:
◦ Simple (genetic test report)
◦ Vitality (customised skincare serum)
◦ Boost (customised nutritional supplement)
All product options require a saliva collection sample through our collection kit “Simple”. Your saliva sample would be processed in our genetic sequencing lab for analysis and product formulation.
What Makes us Different from Other Providers?
Unlike other genetic testing providers, our ancestry-based genetic risk analytics system enhances result accuracy by first considering your ancestry and ethnically relevant data sets. We use array kits such as the Asian Infinium Asian Screening Array (ASA) which was built using an East Asian reference panel containing 9000 whole-genome sequences. This ensures that your genotypic sequences and bioinformatics are specific and relevant to your demographic.
Our genetic sequencing also covers only important genetic markers that show your wellness traits. Our technology only covers less than 0.5% of your DNA, limiting the coverage while providing you with the most amount of information.
Lastly, EternaLife offers you product solutions through Boost and Vitality to help you with better wellness. Furthermore, if you opt for a genetic report, we will provide you with personalized recommendations and diet plans for your nutritional needs and skincare.
Why are Customised Products Important?
Understanding your profile will provide you with the information to make proactive decisions that are best suited to your lifestyle and goals. Our genetic analytical platform and algorithm considers your profile and formulates a product best suited for your requirements, sensitivities and goals.
Our platform covers a total of more than 500 genes and carefully selects reference populations for increased genetic assessment accuracy and relevance before formulating your products. Gone are the days of your generic off the shelf products, EternaLife products are personalized to your requirements. Work your way to better wellness with us.

How is my Genetic Material Collected?
Your DNA is collected and analysed through our saliva collection kit, “Simple”. The saliva collection process is simple, painless and non-invasive. It should take less than a minute to complete.
Do take note that we are using a saliva collection kit and not a buccal swab. No blood samples are required for this genetic test.
Do I have to Collect my Saliva for Subsequent Orders?
When you sign up with us, you would have to first go through saliva collection and genetic sequencing in our inhouse sequencing lab. We do not offer genetic sequencing uploads from other providers.
When you are a returning customer with EternaLife/EternaDNA and have already done your genetic sequencing with us, you no longer need to purchase the “Simple” kit and can proceed with purchasing your supplements/report at stand-alone pricing.
How Long Will it Take?
The process will take approximately 4 weeks for your products to arrive.

What Else does EternaLife Offer?
EternaLife forms a part of EternaDNA. EternaDNA carries out Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) which can sequence your entire stretch of DNA. This looks at your entire DNA sequence as opposed to merely pockets of it. This can help unlock characteristics beyond your wellness traits.
EternaDNA also provides services to help store your DNA. This is important as what we know today is certainly of value but bioinformatics is consistently evolving. As your DNA does not change and while we gain more expertise in genetic interpretation, your stored DNA can provide new insights and discoveries for you in the future.
Lastly, EternaDNA provides services and product options such as nutritional consultancy, fitness and tracking technology to ensure you stall or even reverse your biological age.
